Paint with Water - Amazing Animals

This is a really cool Paint with water set! It was a project I enjoyed as much as my grandson. Yes, both age groups will enjoy this project. It's so easy. It has 20 cards that are sturdy and reusable. All you need is a cup of water... it comes with a paintbrush. You fill in the outline of the animals and it begins to come to life with the swipe of a brush! The animals are not cartoonish, but look more like the animals look in real life! Once it's complete, it will eventually dry out and return to white, so you can do it over and over again. It's a very soothing task, and my grandson was delighted with the end result!

I ordered these for my 95 year old mother who always enjoyed art. Though she is cognitively very sharp, her arthritis makes it difficult for her to create her own detailed artwork. I’m hoping that she will enjoy creating these portraits and love that she will be able to use them repeatedly. As soon as a painting fully dries, it magically disappears! The paper they are printed on is quite sturdy and should be very durable. Each large envelope includes a good quality brush, but I think a smaller brush might be helpful for someone who wants to paint inside the lines. This is a great idea and would also make a lovely gift.

This review is for the GoodDay Puzzles Paint with Water, 20 Reusable Painting Sheets, Volumes 1 & 2 You get 20 reusable sheets with preprinted pictures of various animals on it. The pages are blank except for an outline indicating what animal will be viewed. I found that the enclosed paint brushes are on the small size and in order to reveal the entire picture takes some effort without some of it disappearing before you finish. I also expected the colors of the animals to be more vibrant whereas they appeared to be muted (maybe because of the top vanishing layer of chemicals). Overall I think a child would find it fun for a short amount of time but they also might get frustrated when it disappears so quickly.
